Principle

This website processes as little personal data as possible. It uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics and no embedded third-party content. Fonts and graphics are served from my own server. Visiting this website transmits no data to third parties such as Google or social networks.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by cyon GmbH, Basel, in Switzerland. When a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume, browser and operating system, and the referring page if your browser transmits it. This data serves solely the secure operation of the site and error analysis. It is stored in log files and deleted according to the hosting provider’s retention periods. It is not evaluated for marketing purposes.

Contact

If you write to me by email or Threema, I process the data you provide, in particular your name, contact details and the content of your message, solely to handle your enquiry. My mailboxes are operated in Switzerland. Email is not end-to-end encrypted; for confidential content I recommend Threema.

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once dealt with. Correspondence relating to an engagement is retained in line with statutory retention obligations, generally ten years.

Data in the course of an engagement

Documents and information you entrust to me for advice or an assessment are processed only for the agreed purpose. They are stored on encrypted systems in Switzerland and not passed on to third parties. Once the engagement is complete, I delete the documents unless you wish otherwise or a statutory retention obligation applies. Hosting and email are operated by providers in Switzerland.

Transfers abroad

Client documents are stored exclusively in Switzerland. For video calls and office applications I use Microsoft services; connection and contact data may be processed in the EU or the United States. Data is disclosed abroad only to providers offering an adequate level of data protection, in particular under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. No other personal data is disclosed abroad.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data concerning you (Art. 25 FADP), to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data deleted, and to receive your data in a common electronic format (Art. 28 FADP). You may object to processing. Please contact kontakt@henry.swiss. The competent supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Data security

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS. The website loads no scripts from external servers and uses security headers against common attacks. Access to my systems is protected by encryption and two-factor authentication.

I will update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
