Self-check

How well are your cameras set up?

14 questions, two minutes. You get a traffic light per audit area, a recommendation and a guide price straight away. Nothing is transmitted until you send the result yourself.

Your business
Optics and coverage area

01 Do you know, for every camera, where its image ends on the ground?

02 Does any camera point at the street, the pavement or a neighbouring building?

03 Are employees' workplaces permanently in the image?

04 Have you checked at night whether a face or a number plate is identifiable?

Recording

05 How long does the recorder keep footage?

06 Is the recorder's clock synchronised with a time server?

07 Could you export a recording as a file within an hour?

Access

08 Who can watch live or via the app?

09 Is access revoked when employees leave?

Network and cloud

10 Are cameras and recorder on their own network, separate from the customer Wi-Fi?

11 Is remote access through the manufacturer's cloud active?

Signage and documentation

12 Are there notice signs before people enter the image?

13 Is there a camera register with position, type and viewing direction?

14 Have employees been informed in writing about the cameras?

Almost done: your contact details

Optional. You see the result anyway; you can add details to the request afterwards.

What the self-check cannot do

The test asks what you know. The inventory measures what the camera actually sees: coverage area on the cadastral map, pixel density at night, recorder, accounts, network. With photos, a traffic light per camera and measures for your installer.
